BizX: Entrepreneurial Leaders
With an emphasis on interdisciplinary expertise, leadership development and entrepreneurial thinking, this program will prepare BGSU graduates to quickly and effectively bring innovation to business practice.
BizX students form a tight knit group working toward a bachelor’s degree in business. Under the direction of a team of several accomplished faculty, students will focus their academic coursework on the challenges and strategies of entrepreneurial organizations. The faculty team will serve as personal coaches to individual students, helping them cultivate their strengths.
BizX: Entrepreneurial Leaders will:
- tackle business coursework in small teams led by an interdisciplinary core of faculty
- enroll in one to two courses each term with the BizX cohort and faculty
- participate in co-curricular experiences including service learning and career development
- receive coaching from faculty, entrepreneurs, and business professionals
- build their network of contacts with business leaders while completing their degrees
To apply:
Additional information and BizX applications will be available to interested BGSU College of Business freshmen during the Fall 2010 semester. The freshmen selected to join BizX will begin the program in the Spring 2011 semester.
